May 02, Common Indications of a Curse

On the basis of my personal observation, here are seven indications that usually signify the presence of a curse over your life or your family.

Christ was made a curse on the cross so that we might qualify for and receive the blessing. In order to receive this provision God has made for us, it is necessary that we understand the nature of blessings and curses.

Jesus called Himself the “good shepherd” (John 10:11, 14). The shepherd’s provision, as illustrated in Psalm 23, can be summed up in one tremendous phrase: total security. But remember that all provision is measured by our commitment.

When we are first confronted with the cross, we tend to recoil. But the cross of Jesus is the door to a secret place that no animal can find, no bird can see, and all the rest of creation does not know.

Looking beyond Christ’s identification with us, we find that, in turn, through faith and repentance, we can be identified with Christ—not only in His death, but also in His subsequent exaltation.

Co-opt and Control or Remove

Ian Johnson, writing in Foreign Affairs, defined the direction of Chinese government policy to the church in China in a way that should be helpful to all those who pray for China’s church. He essentially made three points.

Arrests in China

On December 9th 2018, Chinese security officials shut down Early Rain Covenant Church in Chengdu, arresting Pastor Wang Yi and his wife Jiang Rong, as well as several elders and 100 church members. Some have since been released, but the pastor and elders have not been freed (at the time of writing).

China and the Bible, The Word of God

Paul, writing in 2 Timothy 4:1-2, makes a very interesting emphasis to his young team member, Timothy - especially since “this is the final chapter of Paul’s final letter.” Paul’s emphasis is on the Bible, the Word of God.

China’s New Status In The World Today.

Recently two high profile international events took place which created two very different responses from other nations. These responses provide an interesting glimpse into China’s unique status in the world today.

Chinese in Namibia

Many Chinese are moving to Namibia to start a business there. As worldwide ministry we were requested for these people in Namibia.

Testimony from Pakistan

Special testimony from Catholic Church: "For the past two years, I observed four of our lay leaders growing in their character and spiritual gifts. I had a conversation with them in the presence of about 58 other leaders.
