Help Christians in Nepal

The massive earthquake that hit Nepal on the 25th of April, and several aftershocks have shattered hundreds of thousands of lives.

Almost 8,000 people have died, homes have been destroyed, churches have been flattened and thousands of children and adults are living out in the open. They lack basic essentials like water, food and medicines.

Many charities are doing all they can to help but the needs are enormous, especially in rural areas.

Pastor Gopaljee Adhikari, our Derek Prince Ministries-Nepal Director, e-mailed us asking for help. This is what he said: “There is so much sadness and devastation. Many people are hungry, thirsty and scared. We are praying for our people and for churches that have been hit badly.

In Okkhaldhunga and Ramechhap districts several churches and pastors’ houses have been destroyed. In Chitawan, in the hillside one church we recently helped build is gone. Hundreds of Christian families are struggling terribly. Will you please help us?”

Pastor Gopaljee and a team of volunteers can get food and medical supplies to earthquake survivors in rural areas. You can make this [GiveNepal] happen by sending a gift of £5, £10, £20 or whatever you can share to DPM.

Your gift will be used to deliver life-saving food, water and medical supplies to survivors and their families in Nepal.

Please give today. Please give as generously as you can.

Thank you for sharing God’s love in practical ways with earthquake survivors in Nepal in their time of the greatest need.
