DVD Production

This year will see some new teaching DVDs from Derek Prince being distributed across China. We are gradually phasing out production of VCDs (which have previously been very popular with the Chinese, but are now mainly being replaced by DVD) and moving all of Derek’s materials over onto DVD format.

The DVD format enables us to distribute more materials on fewer discs. For example, the complete ‘Foundation Series’, consisting of twenty 30-minute talks, can be distributed on just three DVDs. This series was the first to be produced on DVD, so thousands of copies are now being delivered to our contacts in various parts of China.

In coming months, we plan to make a growing number of Derek’s teaching videos available in DVD format, so we do ask for your prayer support for the translation, recording and distribution process.

  • Pray for our Chinese co-workers who arrange the copying and distribution of all our DVDs. Pray too for all those involved in the translation and recording process. Pray for smooth production and delivery of all these audio-visual materials, and that they will powerfully impact the lives of many people in China.

Remember that, as you read this prayer update, many millions of Chinese people are still waiting to hear the Good News of the Gospel. Others have put their trust in the Lord Jesus, but have little understanding of what that really means. Even many church leaders feel inadequate to meet the needs of their flocks. They are all longing for good Biblical teaching such as Derek’s materials can provide.

That’s why we press on to bring Derek’s teaching to our brothers and sisters in China and why we ask you to join us in pressing through in prayer for the establishment of God’s Kingdom in the vast land.
